Coach Cory
I grew up here locally in Hebron, Ohio and love to share the passion I have for wrestling with others. I enjoy teaching the toughness and discipline that this sport requires of the athlete.
Cory's Story
I have been a longtime fan of wrestling and have either participated in the sport or have been around it since I was in the fourth grade. Throughout my high school career, I was known for my explosive throws and crisp shot technique.

I have been coaching wrestling for a little over seven years, since my son Trenton got involved in the sport. Most notably, I have been the Assistant Coach for the Newark Youth Wrestling program for six years. I have been the Assistant Coach for Ascent Wrestling Club since it's foundation in April of 2023. I look forward to helping the athletes bring out the best in themselves by pushing them beyond their perceived barriers.
